The Rebuild to Original Specifications
of a 1937 Chrysler Convertible
with a Swiss Tuescher Body

Bruno Costers, the owner of this 1937 Chrysler which is shown on
The Rebuild of a 1937 Chrysler Convertible
wanted to restore his car to theoriginal specifications as she was delivered
in 1937. The following is the story of this being done.
The Chrysler has already undergone  a restoration in the 70's, but a very low
quality restoration, and certainly no interest in preserving its originality.
Cheaper, not original solution applied. I wanted to improve this. During the previous restoration, the Chrysler  has been saved from the junkyard, nothing more !! This restoration cost me a lot of money, new painting, new chrome, new convertible top, back to the original correct pattern running boards, again woodgraining on the dashboard, changing wrong parts on the car, etc.
