Ernie Miles' Volkswagen Camping Weekend

Ernie's VW Camping Rally but were told that he had plenty of inside space if things were to get a bit wet. Well wet they did get but with the great hospitality of Ernie and his son Mark things couldn't have been better. When we arrived on Saturday we were pleasantly surprised at the number of VW's already at the site. These VW camper folks are a hardy group with units ranging from a 1966 to a 2000. The weekend consisted of meeting a lot of new friends, view Ernie's 14 antique cars, washer toss and a good evening of food, drink and music. The visitors came from as far away as Yarmouth, NS to St. Martins, NB and all points between. I tried to include everyone in these pictures but if I missed anyone it was not done intentionally. |

inside for a good evening

On Sunday Morning Ernie moved is collection of cars
out doors so we
all could enjoy them.The Honda was of particulat interest
to all.
Apparently it is on of three in North America, with
Jay Leno owning
one of the other two and the third one in Halifax
in parts.
Ernie ownes a total of 14 Antique cars.

All in all the campers spirits were high and ready
to enjoy another day of friendship, food and car talk
