| The first novelty glass bottles in the form of vehicles were introduced by Avon in 1968. The glass had to be hollow, to hold the perfume, with the cap being incorporated into the design, either as a spare tire, or hidden in the bumper. As the design became more complex, plastic add-ons were featured. These Avon containers have become very collectible, with original boxes and labeling being a large part of the price. |
